Typically when we are marketing a product or service, we are always talking about the values and benefits of those products and services.

If you’re in the personal coaching arena it’s all about the personal experiences you will get when you follow what your coach suggests you do to be happy and successful.

If you have the limiting belief that you don’t have enough documentation to be of some help to someone else, let me help you to get over that limiting belief.

What it’s based on is what kind of experience they will get from you and your coaching.

When you help someone by sharing information and they use that information to get an experience in their life.

When I met my mentor/coach he suggested that I read Think and Grow Rich, and also The Greatest Miracle in the World. And with those two books I changed the way I thought about life and success.
11

My all time favorite book is The Science of getting Rich.

I give away Think and Grow Rich, The Science of getting Rich, my own book How is that Working all PDF form and the movie The Secret.

There are two groups of people:

Group one is the people that have said “Is this all there is?” “ enough is enough. I’m tired of how my life is going. I don’t want to live like this anymore.”

When you are at that place in your life, you will do the things that people tell you to do.

Group two are the people that have many excuses, I’m broke, I don’t have any money, but it’s not bad enough. Because when they are sent the link of all the free books and movie, they won’t even look at. And it’s free!

When I have people get in touch with me and tell me that they want my help, the first thing that I ask them is “tell me one thing that you learned from me that you’re doing every morning as a positive morning ritual. Their response “You’re right”.

It’s not about me being right, it’s about you not being at the place in your life where it’s uncomfortable and you want change.

Group one, when they get the information they dig into it right away, because they want a positive change in their life.

Group two, have too many excuses to get out of their own way to receive the help.

If you’ve been told by your coach to do something, and you haven’t done it should he take anymore of his time to help you?

My mentor told me to read The Greatest Miracle in the World and in the book is the Gods Memorandum, to be read 100 days in a row, until it becomes a part of you.

You should have hiring a personal coach on your bucket list…

The experiences of hiring a personal coach and the outcome of their help is priceless.

What Is A Self-Liquidating Offer? (Hint: Done Right, It’s Free Lead Generation)

11

OK, so what is a Self Liquidating Offer

A self-liquidating offer is something that generates an email opt-in, lead, or purchase, while simultaneously offsetting (or completely negating) the cost of advertising.

For example, let’s say I wrote an ebook and decided to set-up a dedicated landing page for it. Then to drive traffic to the landing page I invested in some solo ads or Facebook Ads.

Say I then find that 5% of the people who arrive on the page purchase the ebook and it costs me $30 in ad spend for every purchase. Well, if the cost of the book is $30 or more then this is an efficient self-liquiding offer (we’ll call it SLO for short from this point on).

Once you find a SLO that converts at a rate high enough to cover your advertising costs you can then scale this offer to Infinity and beyond.

Once that happens you then want to make sure that you have a higher ticket item to upsell your new customer into. For example after they purchase your SLO they would then be directed to a sales page that presents them with a business opportunity that you promote. Pretty neat huh?

In order to do an effective SLO you need the following set up and ready to go

  1. Your advertising methods
  2. Offer to promote (100% commission)
  3. Capture or landing page
  4. Video sales page
  5. Payment processor
  6. Autoresponder
  7. High Ticket Item for upsell

If your brand new to internet marketing this can be a daunting task to complete. Luckily there is a turn-key system already set up for you that has a 100% Instant Commission product that pays out $18 per sale and comes with capture pages, video sales pages, payment options, built in autoresponder and allows you to add your own primary business for the high ticket upsell. If you don’t currently have a high ticket upsell to promote you can always join the one that the person you signup under is using

To get your own completely set up Self Liquidating Offer (SLO) click on the link below:

Have a great day, and if you have any questions about this SLO call me at the number below

A Professional Does Not Take Failure Personally

11

I am taking a part out of the book The War of Art, gifted to me by my Mentor

I love to share these little golden nuggets from this book with You!

When people say an artist has a thick skin, what they mean is not that the person is dense or numb, but that he has seated his professional consciousness in a place other than his personal ego.

It takes tremendous strength of character to do this, because our deepest instincts run counter to it. Evolution has programmed us to feel rejection in our guts.

This is how the tribe enforced obedience, by wielding the threat of expulsion. Fear of rejection isn’t just psychological; it’s biological. It’s in our cells.

Resistance knows this and uses it against us. It uses fear of rejection to paralyze us and prevent us, if not from doing our work, then from exposing it to public evaluation.

I had a dear friend who had labored for years on an excellent and deeply personal novel. It was done. He had it in its mailing box. But he couldn’t make himself send it off. Fear of rejection unmanned him.

The professional cannot take rejection personally because to do so reinforces Resistance. Editors are not the enemy; critics are not the enemy. Resistance is the enemy.

The battle is inside our own heads. We cannot let external criticism, even it it’s true, fortify our internal foe. That foe is strong enough already.

A professional schools herself to stand apart from her performance, even as she gives herself to it heart and soul.

The Bhagavad-Gita tells us we have a right only to our labor, not to the fruits of our labor. All the warrior can give is his life; all the athlete can do is leave everything on the field.

The professional loves her work. She is invested in it wholeheartedly. But she does not forget that the work is not her.

Her artistic self contains many works and many performances. Already the next is percolating inside her. The next will be better, and the one after that better still.

The professional self-validates. She is tough-minded. In the face of indifference or adulation, she assesses her stuff coldly and objectively. Where it fell short, she’ll improve it. Where it triumphed, she’ll make it better still. She’ll work harder. She’ll be back tomorrow.

The professional gives an ear to criticism, seeking to learn and grow. But she never forgets that Resistance is using criticism against her on a far more diabolical level.

Resistance enlists criticism to reinforce the 5th column of fear already at work inside the artist’s head, seeking to break her will and crack her dedication.

The professional does not fall for this. Her resolution, before all others, remains: No matter what, I will never let Resistance beat me.

We’re All Pros Already!

11

Happy Sunday Everyone!

There are so many great parts to the book The War of Art gifted to us by our coaches Ray and Jessica Higdon, that I love to share them with you all.

We’re all pros already.

All of us are pros in one area: our jobs.

We get a paycheck. We work for money. We are professionals.

Now: Are there principles we can take from what we’re already successfully doing in our workday life and apply to our artistic aspirations? What exactly are the qualities that define us as professionals?

  1. We show up everyday. We might do it only because we have to, to keep from getting fired. But we do it.
  2. We show up no matter what. In sickness and in health, come hell or high water, we stagger into the factory. We might do it only so as not to let down our co-workers, or for other, less noble reasons. But we do it.
  3. We stay on the job all day. Our minds may wander, but our bodies remain at the wheel. We pick up the phone when it rings, we assist the customer when he seeks our help. We don’t go home till the whistle blows.
  4. We are committed over the long haul. Next year we may go to another job, another company, another country. But we’ll still be working. Until we hit the lottery, we are part of the labor force.
  5. The stakes for us are high and real. This is about survival, feeding our families, educating our children. It’s about eating.
  6. We accept remuneration for our labor. We’re not here for fun. We work for money.
  7. We do not over identify with our jobs. We may take pride in our work, we may stay late and come in on weekends, but we recognize that we are not our job descriptions. The amateur, on the other hand, overidentifies with his avocation, his artistic aspirations. He defines himself by it. He is a musician, a painter, a playwright. Resistance loves this. Resistance knows the amateur composer will never write his symphony because he is overly invested in its success and overterrified of its failure. The amateur takes it so seriously it paralyzes him.
  8. We master the technique of our jobs.
  9. We have a sense of humor about our jobs.
  10. We receive praise or blame in the real world.

Now consider the amateur: the aspiring painter, the wannabe playwright . How does he pursue his calling?

One, he doesn’t show up everyday. Two, he doesn’t show up no matter what. Three, he doesn’t stay on the job all day. He’s not committed over the long haul; the stakes for him are illusory and fake. He does not get money.

And he overidentifies with his art. He does not have a sense of humor about failure. You don’t hear him bitching, “This damn trilogy is killing me!” Instead, he doesn’t write his trilogy at all.

The amateur has not mastered the technique of his art. Nor does he expose himself to judgement in the real world. If we show our poem to our friend and our friend says, “It’s wonderful, I love it,” that’s not real-world feedback, that’s our friend being nice to us. Nothing is as empowering as real-world validation, even if it’s for failure.

Money!

󾓝󾓝 MONEY 󾓝󾓝 What are your thoughts?
Please: Follow Me✔ Share✔ Tag✔ Like♥ Comment✔ Repost✔

Posted by Robert Hollis on Monday, August 22, 2016

What are your thoughts about money?

Do you think that the way you think about money could be holding you back?

Some think it’s a curse! Crazy!

12

Based on how you grew up is probably why you think about money like you do.

Have you ever heard that money changes people?

And sadly for some it’s not for the good!

I have a few friends that just will not disclose how much money they make a year.

It’s something that they refuse to discuss.

We have what we call “scotomas” – blank spots, which are in a sense limiting beliefs of money and why we don’t deserve to have a lot of it, or ask for it.

Many people really have a hard time asking someone for money.

What if someone owes you money?

Think of the feeling you get when someone asks to borrow money from you

And if you do borrow money to someone, how do you go about asking for it back?

I used to think that you had to be super smart to make a lot of money…

That you had to work really hard to make a lot of money…

That you had to work extra hours to make a lot of money…

That you had to sacrifice time with your family and the things that you liked to do

to make a lot of money…

Some think the 1%ers are greedy, egotistical people who only take money from the 98%ers.

I’ve heard people say “money’s not important”.

It’s right up there with the importance of oxygen!

We all need money to buy things, pay the mortgage, rent for some.

Car payments, utilities, food, insurance.

Money is extremely important.

Some make just enough to get by. If I make more money I’ll have to pay more taxes.

You don’t need to be super smart to make a lot of money.

Henry Ford did not invent the automobile, Mercedes did. He couldn’t read or write.

What he did do is he learned how to market and sell more cars.

Let’s work on our thoughts on money

Limiting beliefs on money is that we’re not deserving to make a lot of money

Unworthiness, lack of self confidence.

It’s time to switch your thinking, re-frame your mind on money and what it means to you.

Whisper Down The Lane!

󾌯 Whisper Down The Lane! 󾌯

Posted by Robert Hollis on Sunday, August 21, 2016

When I was taught this 28 years ago, the information changes from person to person.

In this day and age it’s kinda like telling rumors.

When information gets passed down from person to person it changes as it goes down the line of different people.

It was a core principle that was taught from my mentor.

How many people want to fit in?

You want to contribute in some way so that you can fit in somewhere.

Be a part of what’s going on.

11

When I was a mechanic I was fortunate enough to be in a meeting with about 70 people to which one of them was Roger Penske. And I had brought up in the meeting something that I had overheard from another race team. Mr. Penske in a nice way got on me about relaying information to others without knowing if it was true or not.

This I refer to as my Billion Dollar Lesson.

This huge lesson made me question so many things that I heard and thought.

I was asked “How do you know that”.

It was a life lesson. We sometimes have the tendency to repeat something that someone else told us, without making sure it was true or not.

Documentation Beats Conversation came from Roger Penske.

I just brought that phrase with me to network marketing.

When I would go to a Bill Gouldd seminar, he would start at one end of the room and tell that person something. He then would tell them to pass it on. As it went through the entire room of people and got to the last person he would say what did you hear?

Surprisingly what the last person heard was way off from what Bill Gouldd told the first person. That’s how exaggerated things can get. He would call this Whisper Down the Lane.

Every time someone would tell me something about their company or product, it didn’t matter how excited they were or how excited I would be with what they were telling me, I would research it.
When you hear something that you’re not sure is true or not, take the time to do your research so that you know if it’s true before you convey it to someone else.

Sales Vs Marketing

󾓝 Sales vs Marketing! 󾓝
Please: Follow Me✔ Share✔ Tag✔ Like♥ Comment✔ Repost✔

Posted by Robert Hollis on Friday, August 19, 2016

Another Great Post I just got from my buddy Robert Hollis

95% of the people do not like sales.

Do you like to be sold?

A majority of people don’t like to be pressured to buy something.

A lot of times were put in a position of having someone send their product they are trying to sell or just a link to their sales site.

My mentor shared a saying with me and it’s so powerful

He asked me, “How would I feel if….”

and  “How would I act if….”

If you’re out trying to sell to people…which people are doing everyday.

And you then say selling on the internet doesn’t work, it’s because you are selling and people don’t like to be sold.

11

There’s the personality that likes sales, if you’ve ever seen any of these movies

Glengarry Glen Ross, Wall Street, Boiler Room these people love sales!

The Persuasion Technique!

We’ve all gone to a place to purchase something and the salesperson is so pushy that we’ve walked out and didn’t purchase what we went there for.

Pushy sales people are uncaring and inconsiderate.

They only want your money for the sale.

If you’re getting emails and texts from people that are just trying to sale you something without asking anything about you first ( building relationships )

then you are being sold…and they are salespeople. They don’t care about you.

If someone is not listening to you, asking questions about you, if you have children, if you’re married, sadly they are only in touch with you to sell you something.

Sales people only want the sale to benefit them, not interested if you need their product or service.

There’s a phrase, “People don’t care what you know, unless they know that you care”.

If you’re a marketer you want to out give the person.

I want to build relationships first.

I want to give with reciprocity so that they will Like, Know and Trust me

Some people were never taught that you need to build relationships with people.

Advertising is part of marketing.

If you look at large Companies and take notice to their ads, I’ll use Apple for an example.

The way they get millions of consumers to purchase their products is through touching your emotions.

They show you experiences you can have if you purchase their products

Salespeople typically only care about the sale and what it can do for them

Marketers typically build relationships and want both parties to benefit from the sale.

Do You Have Someone To Model?

󾰀 Do YOU Have Someone To Model? 󾰀
Please: Follow Me✔ Share✔ Tag✔ Like♥ Comment✔ Repost✔

Posted by Robert Hollis on Thursday, August 18, 2016

None of us received an owner’s manual on how we’re supposed to be.

We usually do our best by following other people.

When we were in school, we were told to never cheat or copy other people’s work.

If you did, there were negative consequences that would follow, such as detention or expulsion. We were never encouraged to get help, we were always told that you must do things on your own.

Unfortunately, we’ve been conditioned or even brainwashed to not copy someone else’s work.

So, why is it so difficult for some people to be successful? It’s their limiting beliefs that they are not supposed to ask for help or copy someone else’s success footprint!

11

Find people that are successful! They do all the hard work so that all we have to do is copy and paste.

Why do some people feel the need to change everything?

The people who are following experts, and copy and pasting their content without changing anything, are finding great success!

Who are you mirroring and matching?

Why wouldn’t you duplicate someone who has success and is documented at being successful?

In many interviews, Tony Robbins has said that he mirrored and matched Jim Rohn.

Tony Robbins bought a cassette tape from the Knight Company. The Knight Company promoted Jim Rohns trainings and seminars. Think about the amount of people who have been changed forever because Mr. Knight promoted someone who was already documented!

If you want to learn to dance, martial arts, acting, gymnastics, etc. wouldn’t you find a documented instructor and follow their instructions?

You certainly wouldn’t pay for their teaching and then disregard what they instructed you to do, would you! You wouldn’t say, “I’m going to do it the way I think it should be done.”

If you have a job, your boss instructs you to perform the task his way. If you don’t, you probably won’t have that job for long! So, we usually will take instruction from our boss.

Why is it that online marketing or network marketing should be any different? Some people are instructed by a documented and successful person on how to do the business, and then totally disregard what they tell them to do. They try to reinvent the wheel and do it their way! Where’s the disconnect? Why not take the guidance? Why would they want to struggle?

This is so important.

Find someone who is documented and successful to mirror and match.

It will shorten the learning curve considerably and make success happen faster!

Isn’t that what we all strive for!

Most Important Skill!

🤓 MOST Important Skill! 󾰀
Please: Follow Me✔ Share✔ Tag✔ Like♥ Comment✔ Repost✔

Posted by Robert Hollis on Tuesday, August 16, 2016

My mentor taught me to do good first!

This most important skill not just for marketing or for success.

I’m talking about happiness in life!

The most important skill for me is being humble…

And with that skill you can easily edify and promote someone other than yourself.

This is so important. It will help you to understand why so many people have these limiting beliefs about who they are and what they do.

Too many people are unhappy and unfulfilled.

My mentor expressed to me to find out what the unhappy, unfulfilled, broke people are doing and do the exact opposite.

11

We’re taught by our peers to be in this crazy competitive mode. To do things by ourselves.

You’ll find those people who always talk about how smart, how great they are, how they are business owners.

Sometimes we have the thought that we have to make who we are and what we’re doing and our success larger than it is.

We believe that we need to impress others to get them to listen to us. Untrue

It’s a BS rule.

When you humble yourself the more people will lift you up!

They will promote and edify you.

We are so much more impressed by the humble, average or below average people doing something great than by the gifted person doing the same thing.

It’s better to be who you are! Your authentic self!

People are more relatable if they have shown some struggle or hardship.

People think they have to be documented to be successful. Untrue.

Keep humbling yourself and you’ll put all the attention, edification, and promotion on someone other than yourself.

When people try to be something they’re not, they’re not good at it

When you try to pretend you’re someone you’re not, you won’t be good at it

Everyone is trying to be the person with all the answers, the knowledge, the expert.

Always be humble and give edification and promotion to others better than you!

Until you become that person for someone else!

No Lead Flow! No Cash Flow!

Matthew and I have joined forces with the Digital Gangster Eric Green and Fabulous Paul Turner. They have the Shadow Commission Project. They are truly extraordinary Marketeers.

We’ve joined forces with them to help build Life Mechanic and Life Mechanic University.

They also have an instant pay program. Some people are looking for immediate pay, they need money tomorrow. They can show you how to get paid the following day, I can show you how to make residual money every month. It’s a really great balance we share.

11

Today is the 21st day since we’ve merged together, and my son Matthew has been working pretty much non stop doing an incredible job of providing all the back office things they need. And Paul and Eric know exactly what to say online, how to put the copy together and run the ads.

Our stats so far:

In 21 days we’ve generated 2471 new contacts that came into our database with infusionsoft.

117 brand new people a day on average that downloaded my free book How is that Working, and come into our back office.

With that they get introduced to Life Mechanic University.

It also turned into 386 sales which generated $28,741.00 in sales.

It doesn’t matter what type of marketing your in if you’re not getting your story, your products, YOU in front of brand new people everyday that are interested, game over!

When I started in my first business which was selling water filters. I struggled, I put cake boxes with give aways in dry cleaners, hair salons, ect.

Which were not very successful.

I would demonstrate the water filters and leave them for a 3 day trial and then check back to sell them the filter.

Sound familiar with the free 3 day trial?

My mentor set me down to show me the ad he would put in the Sunday edition, he then showed me how to answer the ad calls and schedule them to the live presentation to which he presented.

So here we are today with Facebook:

1.5 billion people are active on Facebook.

Paul and Eric put together what they call “swipe copy”

I didn’t know what that was, they put together the advertising to where you click, swipe, copy, and paste.

They put together the exact ads your suppose to run, swipe and copy, they are amazing! They’ve figured it out!

I posted an exact ad the Eric gave me, changed nothing and got 118 people say yes!

Paul and Eric show us exactly how to attract and get people to interact with you and your ads.

Paul and Eric are the Masters at this!

If you could learn from a couple of digital masters, why wouldn’t you?

We are here to help you find success!

Check out the instant commission program we use in the Shadow Commission Project
